Alfred Leevy defines “Prevalent Reality” as a general consensus on ideas which most people consider desirable. These include freedom, political power, world peace, discipline, family and social stability, interpersonal relationships, knowledge and wisdom, and a concept of God. It is a reality which is synonymous with the existing order of things subscribed to by humanity as a whole. This is the “prevalent reality” with which this book is concerned.
