Description: 23 cm long (9 in); plummage greyish brown above, greyish brown scales on white underneath; has short black bill, yellow eyes with black pupil; white wing bars, and tail of medium length with white tip; has short, grey legs; feeds on small berries such as those of Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata), Jamoon (Syzygium cumini) and Allspice (Pimenta officinalis); seen variously throughout Gardens but more often on hillside at back of economic crops section; click here to listen to its calls (compliments of 3-Rivers Eco-Lodge)
