    Mr. Christian's background include that of Contract Manager on a US Housing and Urban Development national housing financing program and Sr. Government Property Asst. Manager at the Electronic Warfare (EW) Division of Litton Systems-Amecom where he was involved in management of materials handling on the F-111 "Wild Weasel" and EA6B - "Prowler" EW Systems under manufacture for the US Air Force. He also served as insurance defense counsel at the firm of Farrington, Smallwood & Wells, for clients such as Nationwide, The Hartford Group, Prudential, Fireman's Fund, Allstate, CNA, Crum & Forster and USAA.

    A past President of the Caribbean Students Association of UDC, the Dominica Association of Washington, DC and a founding member of the Institute of Caribbean Studies (ICS) and its General Counsel, Mr. Christian has long provided legal services to the Caribbean community while being in involved in community and business development activities. He has been a booster for Dominican/Catribbean Tourism and development and is a published author of Caribbean History (In Search of Eden: Dominica, the Travails of a Caribbean Mini State, 1992, by Irving Andre & Gabriel J. Christian) and Literature (Rain on A Tin Roof, 1999).
